Move2Green is Kalmar’s ambitious five-year R&D program and ecosystem, co-funded by Business Finland through the Leading company challenge (Veturi). To advance the program's mission, we are building an ecosystem of 150 partners, including industrial organisations, technology companies, research institutions, and universities.
Move2Green is estimated to increase Kalmar’s research, development and innovation activities in Finland and create new jobs and new business.
Through Leading company challenge competitions, Business Finland seeks research and development projects for funding from companies that operate globally or aim for global operations. These projects should tackle major future challenges and make a significant impact on Finland’s competitiveness. Leading companies are expected to significantly increase their R&D activities in Finland and build ecosystems aimed at new business ventures. In addition to funding the leading company’s projects, Business Finland also offers funding for R&D projects from partners within leading companies’ ecosystem.

If you share our commitment to achieving net-zero emission logistics chains and have ideas or solutions in electrification, alternative energy sources or data-driven optimisation, we want to hear from you.
Express your interest/Submit a proposal via our form on the Move2Green webpage.
Yes, we welcome non-Finnish companies. However, please note that Business Finland funding is restricted to Finnish partners, but we encourage all partners to explore EU-wide funding opportunities.
