Kalmar MyParts is Kalmar’s global web shop, launched in 2017 to ensure that customers looking for a part for a scheduled maintenance or an unplanned replacement can find what they need. 

When customers order through MyParts, they know that they will receive a genuine Kalmar part that has been designed specifically for their machine. Jari Matero, Digital Commerce Lead, Kalmar outlines some of the new features added since the site was launched.

“Over the last 12 months we have expanded the range of languages supported,” he says. “MyParts is now available in French, Spanish and simplified Chinese, as well as English, and will soon be available in German. We have also increased the number of manuals available digitally - one of the key features of the site is that we are able to offer spare part manuals in digital format.”

With the new shared shopping cart feature, the cart can be seen by every MyParts user in a company. Users can add and save the parts they need in the shopping cart with ordering finalised by someone with purchasing authorisation. This makes ordering faster and ensures nothing important is missed, while still restricting purchasing to selected members of staff.

“This is just one of the ways we are making the process of purchasing Kalmar parts compatible with customers’ internal procedures,” says Matero. “In addition, where the required part has been replaced or upgraded, the system will automatically suggest the correct replacement part.”

Most orders are dispatched on the day the order is received, and for more urgent parts Kalmar offers even faster delivery options to make sure equipment is back up and running again as quickly as possible.
