I was originally employed as a Procurement Manager in 2012, and in March 2014 I took up a new challenge in Sales & Marketing – Parts at Kalmar Malaysia.

My daily work includes sourcing parts for internal and external customers. I also liaise closely with delivery agents, prepare budgets, manage inventories and expenses, and more.

The people I work with come from various departments, including Procurement, Fleet, Sales and Project. It is important for me to be able to do the material planning well, and this means knowing what to buy and where to source it. The most the important thing is the price of the product and the discount gained! I love my job, because I get to meet and work with personnel at all levels.

In my free time I try not to do work but spend most of the time with my family resting and recuperating ready to face the challenges of the new week.

Kalmar has helped me gain a lot of experience in the port handling equipment business. The job and the company are interesting.
