Sales Support Analyst, Turku, Finland
I entered the company in June 2014 when I got a chance to write my master’s thesis for Kalmar. I worked full time and divided my working hours for the thesis and for other tasks, mainly including different tasks in Services Finance Team. During the thesis project I was priviledged to meet and interview a great number of top professionals both in Finland and in other Kalmar locations.
After finishing the thesis, I was offered a trainee contract and after two months a permanent contract in the Fleet Management team. Fleet Management is a central organisation supporting the front line units in maximising the profitability of their pre-owned equipment sales and rental business. My daily tasks as Sales Support Analyst include for example monitoring and reporting the profitability of pre-owned equipment business in different countries, monitoring the inventory values and turnover, keeping track of the global market prices and finding trends in terms of market demand and supply of used machines.
I really enjoy working for a company with a good reputation and state-of-the-art products. The best thing in my work at Kalmar is to work with people who are passionate about what they do. At Kalmar you also get to do real things and you are given responsibility from day one, which is very inspiring and makes you try your best.
